There are many Bollyood celebrities who turned politician which includes Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal and many more. Now with the Lok Sabha elections approaching, the Bhartiya Janta Party is considering fielding Madhuri Dixit from Pune constituency in the 2019 General elections.

Dhak Dhak Girl had met BJP Party President Amit Shah at her residence in Mumbai in June. He had informed her about the achievements of the Modi government as part of ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ program of the party. Now, a Maharasthra BJP leader informed PTI that Madhuri Dixit’s name has been shortlisted for the Pune seat.

Maharasthra BJP leader told PTI that the BJP is seriously considering giving candidature to Madhuri Dixit in the 2019 general elections. We think the Pune Lok Sabha constituency will be better for her. The party is in the process of finalising the list of probables for several Lok Sabha seats, and Dixit’s name has been shortlisted.

However, Madhuri Dixit has not commented on these reports yet. On the work front, Madhuri Dixit is busy in the shoot of Kalank and Total Dhamaal. She will also be producing content for digital platform; she will produce a Marathi film titled 15th August.
