On occasion of Makar Sankranthi, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit Nene has surprised us with the first look for her debut Marathi film, Bucket List.Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Bucket List has been described as ‘a slice-of-life film about a woman’s journey of self-discovery’.

The poster of Bucket List features Madhuri in a homely pastel green saree with the everyday roles of a Housewife, Mother, Friend and masked behind the frame. Speaking about the film, Madhuri had earlier said in a statement, “It is a story of every household yet it has a silver lining.”

“It not only gives you hope and inspiration but also encourages you to live life in the true sense. The most fascinating factor for me to choose it is that it is going to carve a niche in everyone’s heart,” she had added.

Besides starring in Bucket List, Madhuri has also signed on as a producer for another upcoming Marathi film directed by Swapnaneel Jayakar. “Marathi cinema is evolving so beautifully and seeing such incredible stories being told makes me beam with pride,” Madhuri had earlier said, adding, “I have received a number of scripts over the years since doing a Marathi film was always something I was open to. But the scripts didn’t excite me as this one did. When I read this script, it stood out and with the amazing team behind it, I knew that this is what I wanted to be a part of.” Bucket List has been produced by DAR Motion Pictures, Dark Horse Cinemas and Blue Mustang Creations. The film will be hitting the screens this summer.
