Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, there is a campaign against mafias and encroachers which you will be aware of. In this order, 15 acres of government land in Jabalpur has been freed from the possession of the occupants. It is reported that the price of this free land is more than 25 crore. According to reports, the action is being taken against mafias led by collector Karmbir Sharma. So far, a major action has been taken at six places in the matter.

More than 15 acres of government land worth an estimated market value of Rs. 25 crores 46 lakh was freed from the illegal occupation in the list. 12 acres of government land worth about Rs. 18 crores 66 lakh has been freed from the possession of the Village Piparya Foundation of Paknagar Tehsil, Jabalpur, from the possession of The Nobles Virendra Patel.

On the land near the school and the main road, former Sarpanch Virendra Patel was occupying and cultivating for over 15 years. Mohammad Shamim alias Shamim Kapari occupied the land to build a luxurious house in the name of wife Sanjeeda Be. The illegal part of that has also been demolished. In another similar action, three acres of land worth about two crore five lakh rupees of governance was occupied by village Piparya, Bankhedi resident Mohanlal Patel. He was illegally constructing godowns and shops there.
