Bhopal: A sensational case has seen in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Here a man cuts his wife's hands and feet merely on suspection of wife having an illicit relationship. According to the police, the accused lived with his son in Paras Colony in Bhopal. His wife worked as a supervisor in a factory in Indore. She used to live in Indore and come home on weekends only.
She came to Bhopal on the day of the incident. At around 11:30 pm, the accused husband reached home drunk. He picked up a mace and attacked the woman's right arm and leg while shes sleeping. Hearing the screams, the people of the neighbourhood reached the spot. After this, she was rescued from the clutches of the accused. She was moaning with pain in blood-soaked body. The accused also tried to cut off her head. People informed the police about this and after which they reached the spot. There was blood on the head of alcoholic accused. The police somehow controlled him. The woman was immediately rushed to the hospital where her condition remains critical.
A case of attempt to murder has been registered against the accused. The police has arrested him as well. With this, the custody of his young child has been handed over to the next of kin. Police said that the accused suspected that she had an illegal relationship. Police says that all the evidences of this case is being collected. Also, experts say that if the woman is healthy, her statement will also be recorded. Police is also taking information from neighbours.
