Morena: In the Mata Basia police station area under Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, a vehicle filled with devotees was hit by a speeding truck, killing two people, including a girl in it, few people died at the spot and fifteen others were injured.  Two of whom have been taken to Gwalior in critical condition.

According to police sources, the Adivasi family of Veerampur village under the Gaswani police station area in Sheopur district were going by a loading vehicle to darshan the ancient Mata Basaiya temple in the district last night. Just then, a speeding truck coming from the front near village Jingni on Ambah-Morena road hit the loading vehicle, killing the driver including 16-year-old Sanjana on the spot and injured fifteen devotees including two women.

In this, two people seriously injured have been referred by doctors of Morena District Hospital to Gwalior for treatment. The remaining injured are being treated in the district hospital. At the same time, the police reached the spot after receiving the information of the accident, is inspecting the site. Police are looking for the truck driver, who has been absconding since the accident.
