Anuppur: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh of Madhya Pradesh had once claimed that the roads in the state are better than the US. But under his rule, there is no ordinary road in a village of Madhya Pradesh like America. Actually, we are talking about Pondapani village of Dongratola, gram panchayat under Jaithari district of Anuppur district of the state, where even after 70 years of independence, basic water, electricity and roads have not reached.

Such a picture of poverty has emerged from this village, which made everyone's heart sweat. Here when a woman's health worsened, her children put her on the cot and took her to the hospital. This incident is on Monday. Here, a rural woman Shobha Yadav's mother's health worsened and she was brought to the main road lying in Khatia and from there she was taken by bike to the government hospital for treatment. Let us tell you that during the rainy season, the condition of the raw road of the village becomes such that it is difficult to walk even if walking on a bike. In such a situation, the villagers do not even get the facility of ambulance during the rainy season.

The people here have many times placed their demands on public representatives, officials and CM helpline, but so far no facilities have been available to them. This incident has exposed the claims of the state government regarding all the road-medical claims.
