New Delhi: BJP led Madhya Pradesh is one of the states among the five that will go to polls in November 2018. For unversed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC) would clash it out for MP's 230-seat Assembly on November 28. Worth mention here  MP assembly's term expires on January 7, 2019.

As we all know that the BJP, under the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has been in power in the state for the three consecutive terms.

Times Now-CNX pre-poll survey on Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2018 where in nearly 9000 respondents were quizzed to gauge the trend ahead of polls and it suggested that BJP making clean sweep as CM Chouhan is still popular in poll bound state.

Survey suggested that BJP incumbent and MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan continues to be more popular than Congress leader and former chief minister Digvijaya Singh. Nearly, 55 percent of respondents stated that CM Chouhan was a superior CM than Digvijaya Singh, who got 10.79 percent votes on performance as chief minister of Madhya Pradesh.

The most important factor in winning the polls were like that -30 percent favoured 'candidates', 28.95 percent favoured 'party', 25.57 percent favoured 'caste', 12.89 percent voted in favour of 'religion' and 2.18 percent were in doubt.

For the most popular candidate of next MP CM,  40.11 percent preferred Current CM Chouhan, 20.32 voted in favour of Congress leader Kamal Nath, 19.65 favored Jyotiraditya Scindia while BJP's National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya was the first choice of 3.5 percent of respondents polled. 3.2 percent chose BJP leader and Union Minister Narendra S Tomar  on the other hand 13.2 favored other candidates.
