Betul: Even today, the ghost of superstition is on people's heads in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, There is a village in Betul, where a fair of ghosts is held every year. In this fair, mentally ill people from different corners of the country come to get treatment. Malajpur village, located in Betul, where a ghost fair is being held at the tomb of Guru Sahib for the last 400 years and this village is identified by the name of the fair of ghosts.

According to the information, mentally ill women and men are brought to this fair and they are treated in an inhuman manner. It is being told that the priest beggar Lal Yadav, who sits in front of Guru Sahib's tomb, treats people. According to the information, they take a broom in one hand and hold the hair of women and men with the other hand and then hit them vigorously.

On the other hand, the healing priest, Beggar Lal Yadav, says that this fair, which starts from the full moon of the month of Pus, attracts a large number of mental ill people who feel that they are battling the phantom barrier. The priest says that ghosts run away from our kill and make their way to the banyan tree near the tomb, which is why the leaves of this tree are always bent.
