Bhopal: A case of triple talaq has been reported once again from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Where a husband expelled the wife from the house after 14 years of marriage by giving her triple talaq. The woman has since lodged a complaint against her husband in Shahjahanabad police station. The police has not arrested the accused at present.

According to TI Zaheer Khan, a 30-year-old woman living in Sanjay Nagar was married to Salimuddin in 2006. Salimuddin is a driver by profession and is also the father of a son. The woman alleges that since her marriage, the woman had never been victimised by dowry on domestic issues. There was a debate between the two. After that, Salim divorced his wife.

She then removed the woman from the house and called the in-laws and told about the triple talaq. The family made all efforts to reconnect the relationship, but it did not matter. In this case, the police preliminary enquiry revealed that Salim also has a friendship with another woman. The woman had registered a case against her husband in Shahjahanabad police station in this regard. However, police have not yet arrested the accused.
