Bhopal: A shocking case of management's negligence has come to light in Hamidia, the largest government hospital in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Two women died in the hospital while undergoing treatment for corona. After the death, the staff giving duty at the marquetry handed over the dead body of the Muslim woman to the Hindu family. The Hindu family went home with the dead body, the family also performed the last rites of the woman according to Hindu custom. This was revealed when the Muslim family reached the hospital to take the body.
There has been a stir in the hospital after this case came to light. Actually, both women died during treatment. After the death of the women, the hospital management informed the families of both the women. Among the deceased women were a Hindu and a Muslim. The deceased Hindu woman was a resident of Najirabad. The relatives of the deceased reached the hospital before taking the dead body. The mortuary staff handed over the dead body to them without seeing it. The family went with the dead body and performed the last rites by Hindu custom.
This negligence of the Mortuary staff came to light when the son of a Muslim family arrived at the hospital to pick up his mother's dead body. Even after waiting for a long time, he was not given a dead body. When the body was not examined, it was found that the body of his mother was mistakenly given to the Hindu family and the family had cremated the body in Najeerabad, according to Hindu customs. As soon as this was known, they became angry. Seeing the family's anger, the police were immediately called to the hospital. When the Hindu family was called to the hospital after the matter came to light, they told that the staff had shown the body of the mother and then sent the body inside to be packed. At the same time, the body may have changed. The family said that due to Coron's guidelines while performing the last rites, he did not open the packed body and cremated it in the same way.
At the same time, the Muslim family is very unhappy after this incident. One was saddened by the death of the mother. The son is sorry that he could not even perform the last rites to his mother, but the son says that now he will bury his mother's ashes because now this is the only option left.
