Madhya Pradesh BJP leader Prahlad Bandhwar murder case, accused arrested

PRATAPGARH: On Saturday morning, Police notes a Success ,in the murder case of Madhya Pradesh BJP leader Prahlad Bandhwar, when police arrested main accused Manish Bairagi from Rajasthan's Pratapgarh. Bairagi , who is a BJP worker.

Bandhwar was the President of Mandsaur Municipal Corporation, found  shot dead on Thursday in Mandsaur's Nai Abaadi. A case was registered by Mandsaur police without delay after the incident. Police identified Bairagi as the murderer hours after the incident and a police team was formed to nab him.

Police said that Bairagi  has crime history under their scanner for murder attempt, kidnapping, and half a dozen other crimes. But the exact motive behind Bairagi's action is not known, it is supposed that he was having a land dispute with Bandhwar.

Another BJP leader Baiju Prasad Gupta was shot dead in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district last week. The incident occurred when Gupta was at a medical store. The attacker approached him and asked him for medicine before shooting him dead. Gupta was hospitalised but could not be saved.

Meanwhile, BJP has denied reports that Bairagi is a BJP worker.BJP claimed that Bairagi was never associated with the party and  anyone who drapes BJP flag or manage to get clicked with party leaders is not a BJP worker.
