Bhopal: The havoc of corona is increasing day by day. The Madhya Pradesh government has now started focusing on children. The third wave of corona is said to have come and due to this, a large scale action plan has been prepared for the children. As per the information received, in view of the possibility of infected newborns and children soon, 360 bedded ICU is ready in medical college hospitals in the state. The first ICU of 50 bedded children will be prepared at Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal.

As part of the recent information, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang prepared the scheme through video conferencing along with doctors of 13 Government Medical Colleges and their Covid Hospitals and senior officials of the Department of Medical Education. At the same time, Minister Sarang has directed to ensure availability of medicines, injections, consumeres etc. During the meeting, he said that all kinds of medicines and equipment required will also have to be introduced. Let us also tell all of you that 1000 oxygen concentraters will be installed in 13 medical college hospitals in the State.

According to him, the action plan is that out of 1000 oxygen concentraters, 15% will be backed up and 850 oxygen beds will be operated through oxygen concentraters separating them from central oxygen supply. At the same time, to operate 24 x7 of oxygen concentraters, the hospital should have an assessment of electrical load, electric safety and audit, power plug connection on each bed etc. It is the dean's responsibility to keep it functional properly.
