Bhopal:  In Madhya Pradesh counting has concluded, According to  final ECI results - Congress 114, BJP 109, SP-1, BSP-2 and Independents-4  .

Political Midnight drama extended in Madhya Pradesh as counting for the final numbers continued till wee hours of Wednesday morning. At about 2:30 am, Congress veteran leaders Kamal Nath, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Digvijaya Singh held a press conference stated that they had written a letter to Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel to invite them to form the government,

Now congress can prove their majority but the Governor made it clear that an appointment will be given only after the situation is made clear by the Election Commission of India.

Worth mention here the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly has 230 seats and voting was held for all of them on November 28. the BJP is led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, MP Congress chief Kamal Nath and senior leader Jyotiraditya Scindia led the party’s fight in the central Indian state. A total of 2,899 candidates were in the battle in Madhya Pradesh. Over five crore people were entitled to cast vote in Madhya Pradesh,  according to the Election Commission of India.
