Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal Cyber Cell has taken action on a complaint filed by a young woman and arrested a man who used to extort money from unemployed girls by pretending to get a job in airlines. The accused has been arrested from Gurugram in Haryana as part of the information received in the case. The most serious and surprising thing, in this case, is that the accused himself is an aeronautical engineer but had created a fake profile in the name of the girl to implicate the girls. In fact, the cyber cell was complained by a young woman that she had befriended a woman named Ramiya Sen on Instagram.
Ramiya Sen told the victim that she works in Indigo Airlines and her job was got done by Rudra Singh (fake name). After all this, Ramiya Sen gave the mobile number of Rudra Singh (fake name) to the victim. The victim became friends with accused Roshan Singh alias Rudra Singh during a conversation on the same number. The accused Roshan Singh then cheated in the name of getting a job in Indigo Airlines. Based on the complaint of the case, cyber cell registered a case under Section 419,420,120(B) and initiated an investigation.
When the investigation was conducted, the cyber cell found his location in Gurugram in Haryana and he was arrested from here. During interrogation, accused Roshan Singh said, "He used to create fake IDs on Instagram in the name of women and put profile photos of the woman in the dress of the air hostess, pilot. The accused himself is an aeronautical engineer. He used to start talking to girls who needed a job. He would then implicate them in things and take a hefty sum of money from them. So far, he has cheated 5-6 women.''
