Gwalior: A case of cheating worth crores of rupees has come to light from Gwalior. Astrologer Manoj Sharma, who disappeared after being cheated here, has now been arrested by the police. Police have also reportedly arrested Manoj along with his son Praful Sharma and daughter Sakshi. According to information received in the case, all of them have been arrested from Ujjain. At the same time, gwalior police have claimed that they have been nabbed from the city itself in the entire case. The astrologer's entire family reportedly preyed on the city's big businessmen, businessmen, doctors, engineers and top politicians.
In fact, astrologers, along with their families, used to make inroads with elders through tantra mantras and astrologers. He would then pretend to remove the slowdown in business and take money from them. According to reports, a BJP leader was cheated of Rs 70 lakh by an astrologer by cheating him to partner in mines in Balaghat.
In addition, jewellery worth Rs 54 lakh was taken from an engineer from abroad. Police have started questioning Jaitishacharya in all these cases. Astrologer Manoj Sharma reportedly lives in Tansen Nagar and his cheating work also includes wife Varsha Sharma, son Praful Sharma, daughter Sakshi Sharma. Manoj was familiar with the city's top businessmen and leaders. A team of Stop police and crime branch has arrested Manoj in a joint operation.
