Bhopal: In view of the growing bird flu crisis in Madhya Pradesh, the MP government may take a big decision. State Animal Husbandry Minister Prem Singh Patel said that if required due to bird flu, the state government can ban the carnivore. The minister says that if the government takes this decision, then non-vegetarian shops can be closed in the state.

Prem Singh Patel said that the government is fully alert about bird flu. He said that due to bird flu, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan called an emergency meeting. In which the issue of banning non-vegetarian has also been discussed. Administrative staff of all the cities of the entire state has also been alerted. Animal Husbandry Minister said that the risk of the outbreak of bird flu is increased by eating non-veg. If the crisis seems more, then the government is also ready to take a decision to ban the sale of non-vegetarian.

The minister said that the state government is fully alert about the bird flu crisis and all precautions are being taken. Therefore, it was decided to ban meat consumption first, to prevent bird flu from spreading. Bird flu can also occur from animals to humans. First, the birds are infected with this virus and many birds start dying simultaneously. These infections can also prove fatal for humans. If a person comes in contact with the saliva, mucus and faeces of an infected bird, it can spread in that too. Simultaneously if you eat infected eggs or meat, then he may also suffer from this infection. Therefore, a decision has been taken to ban meat consumption first.
