Indore: The Madhya Pradesh government plans to cover the deficit by increasing the construction cost in the guidelines this time. Tell you that the rate will increase by 25-30 percent. In which the guideline will be increased only in those areas where property is being bought and sold more than the government rates. There will also be newly developed areas and colonies added to the guidelines, which are far from the guidelines.

These rates will be decided by surveying the sale and purchase of property in the area being developed around the city. On Thursday, Joint Inspector General of the Department Inderjit Jain, who came to Indore on a departmental visit, informed that this time a new guideline will come on time only on April 1. There is a possibility of increasing the construction cost rate.

Different slabs have been determined to increase the construction rate. Under this, Rajbahi cities like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior have been kept in the first slab. In these the rates of construction will be kept same. The construction rate of the guideline in Indore is 800 rupees per square foot, whereas in reality it is around 1200 rupees.

Last year, the government directly reduced the guideline rate by 20 percent. This year the revenue target from the department has been kept at Rs 6500 crore, which is expected to reach only Rs 6000 crore. At the same time, to meet the deficit, in other cities including Indore, where the deals are being done at an increased rate in the old areas, the guideline will also be increased. New areas will be included in the guideline. The officials of the registration department have said that many colonies are being developed in front of MR-10 and Aurobindo Hospital in Indore. Deals for one more raw land are being done for 2 thousand rupees, while the nearest guideline is 4 thousand rupees, then new areas will be included in the guideline.
