Guna: A farmer, Bharmal Banjara, died due to drowning in a pond, but the game of superstition that came to be seen after his death was shocking. His body was hung upside down from a tree and swayed to revive the deceased. Meanwhile, the villagers also raised slogans. The case has come to light from Guna District in Madhya Pradesh. In fact, 45-year-old farmer Bharmal Banjara drowned in a pond in Jogipura village under the Sanai police outpost area.

Bharmal and his son Bhanwarlal reportedly had an argument after which the son jumped into Jogipura pond. The son knew how to swim, so he reached the shore, but his father, Bharmal Banjara, could not escape and died. The boundary of the pond was broken with a JCB machine to locate the body, after which the water level receded only after which the body was fished out of the water. His corpse was hung upside down on the tree to revive Bharmal Banjara. After hanging the body, it was swung for a long time.

Family members and villagers said that the water that is full in the body due to drowning will come out and Bharmal will come back to life. Because of superstition, people cordoned off the body and hung it on the tree in the middle, and started shouting from all sides. In the meantime, the police explained to the villagers, but the family members continued to try to revive Bharmal.  In this regard, the police have said that no superstition should be promoted. Police have started an investigation into the case.
