Drunk student robbed his own house, stole jewelry worth millions

Gwalior: A shocking case is reported from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, a student stole jewellery worth lakhs of rupees from the cupboard of his own house and placed it in a school bag and hung the bag on a tree by the roadside. When the couple returned home from their jobs, the theft was reported to the Thitipur police, but when the reality was revealed, the parents got shocked.

Arjun Rao Shinde, resident of Thatipur police station area and his wife Shashi Shinde are both LDCs in PHE department. Apart from him, his 18-year-old only son Harsh lives in the house. Harsh, a student of class 12, stole around two and a half to 3 lakh ornaments from a locker and kept it in his school bag and when his parents returned home, lodged a police complaint on suspicion of theft. Police reached the spot soon after the theft incident was detected in the government quarters in broad daylight. During the investigation, the police found out that the only son of the couple is a 12th student and he is addicted to smack.

After this, the police questioned the student that if he talked about going home from two o'clock in the afternoon, the suspicion of the police was increasing with his action and story. When the police came to know from his friends, some people said that he would carry the bag in his afternoon and after some time he was seen coming back empty-handed. Police recovered the student's bag from the tree from which the jewellery was found. The police has arrested the accused son.
