Indore: A case of gang rape of a 12th class student in Indore has come to light. The victims have registered a case against four persons including his friend. According to reports, the incident took place in the Lasudia police station area, the information received from Indramani Patel, the student had gone to Mandu by car with her 4 friends to celebrate picnic. At around 4 pm on their way back, the girl was given a cold drink by a friend who started feeling dizzy after drinking and fell unconscious.

After the student fainted, her friends took her to a house in scheme number 78 area and raped her alternately. The student was reportedly raped by three men while one of her friends was also present during the time. After the incident, the student was left unconscious by her friends on the road and fled. The student then somehow contacted her parents.

The family rushed to the spot after receiving information about the rape of the daughter from where the victim was taken to Lasudia police station by the family members and an FIR was lodged against Pooja, Ashish, Nipul and Ritesh. Police have registered a case under various sections against the four accused on the statement of the victim and launched a hunt for the accused. All the accused are said to be absconding at present.
