Indore: A case of assault of two minor girls of Valmiki community with glass bottles has come to light in Indore, the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh, for molesting and protesting against two minor girls of Valmiki community. The case pertains to Bombay Bazar in the Pandharinath police station area of Indore. According to reports, local vegetable trader Suresh was drinking juice at a shop with his nieces. Meanwhile, some Muslim youths who started molesting minor girls reached there. Suresh opposed it at first, but the accused Muslim youths fatally attacked the girls and their family members with glass bottles, injuring the girls and their family members.

The incident took place on 13th August 2021, but the video is now going viral. The video clearly shows a crowd of hundreds running behind a police vehicle to rescue the victims. Not very clearly, but slogans of 'Or Hussain' are being heard from the crowd, and at the same time a young man can be heard saying in the video that the video should not be made viral but deleted. Tension prevailed in the area after the incident after which a heavy police force had to be deployed.

After the case of molestation of minor girls of Valmiki Samaj came to light, Hindu Jagran Manch workers and representatives of Valmiki Samaj had asked the police to take strict action in the matter and lodged an FIR against the accused. After the Bombay Bazaar incident, Valmiki community members said that they would not clean the area unless they got justice. This is not the first such incident, police have been attacked in many Muslim-dominated areas in the past. In such a situation, the question arises, when will strict action be taken against those who first commit the crime and then when the police come and attack them? How long will these Taliban activities continue in secular India?
