Indore: In Indore city of Madhya Pradesh, which has been identified as the cleanest city of the country, the cleaning workers on 'Goga Navami' took holiday. Due to this, people of Indore, public representatives and administrative camp are handling the task of cleaning in the city today. During this time, all of them are watching the arrangements for cleaning the streets.

Taking charge of the cleanliness front, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Indore Lok Sabha seat Shankar Lalwani, former minister and MLA Mahendra Hardia, MLA Akash Vijayvargiya, MLA Malini Gaur, people of the entire administrative staff reached the streets early in the morning and cleaned the city. During this time, the people of Indore also contributed fully to the cleanliness of the city. In order to prevent coronavirus infection, people also wore masks and followed social distancing.

The festival of 'Goga Navami' is celebrated every year by the Valmiki society. Therefore, all scavengers are discharged on this day. People of Valmiki society also take out a procession in the entire city on this day, but this time it has not been allowed due to Coronavirus.
