Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Govind Singh Rajput arrived on Sunday on a visit to Bilehra and Khamkua villages in the Surkhi assembly constituency of Sagar, where he launched several development projects to be built at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore. The state's Revenue and Transport Minister also made landfall in Khamkua village to construct a new high school at a cost of Rs 1 crore and Gaushala at a cost of Rs 27 lakh.

Attacking the Shivraj government earlier, Minister Govind Singh Rajput said, "No development work has been done in Surkhi since I had done the work in the Opposition. If all of you are blessed, soon the surreptitious will hold back the momentum of development and I hope that the people will join the Congress and me in pursuing the development work of the Surkhi. I assure all of you that the Government will live up to the trust of all of you and soon you will get a new look," he said.

Minister Govind Singh Rajput further said, "We don't say you will find all that you have been waiting for several days, as there is still a lot of work left here. The pace of development here has slowed down so much that even if Lord Ram takes an incarnation on earth, he will not be able to solve these problems," he said.
