Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has now expressed regret over his statement that he did not wear masks. Now, in a tweet he wrote,  "My statement about wearing masks has felt a violation of the law. It was not in consonance with the spirit of the PM. I am sorry, I  admit my mistake. I will also wear masks myself and will also appeal to the society to wear all masks and follow the rules of social dissing. '

While the central government and all the state governments are instructing people to wear masks to avoid the corona, Narrottam Mishra said in a statement that he does not mask it. Mishra was in Indore to participate in a programme related to the state government's Garib Kalyan based "Sambal" scheme. When asked not to put their masks in the programme, he told the press that, "“I don’t wear a mask in any programmes. ‘Isme kya hota hai?’ (so what),” ?"

When Narotam Mishra was asked if he didn't wear a mask for any particular reason, he replied that he didn't wear it. Even when he was talking to the press, he was not wearing a mask. While standing near him, state Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Cilavat and other BJP leaders wore masks to prevent the corona epidemic.
