This led to the women taking a strange Totka on Saturday at Salichoka in the Gadarwara Tehsil area, where the women ploughed themselves into dry land. First of all, the village head was tied from his head and hands and was placed in a temple in the village itself. The women of the village then reached the temple of the goddess for several hours, singing hymns and dancing to the fields to celebrate god.

On reaching there, the women ploughed their fields praying for a good rain. Local resident Triveni Bai said, "We have blindfolded the village head with his hands and feet. He was then seated in front of the goddess in the temple. We are praying to Indradev to have mercy on us and rain well."
