Gwalior: Devyani aka Neetu's desire to plant 100 saplings before marriage in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh has finally been fulfilled. Neetu's father-in-law, SDP Upendra Dixit, has planted 51 plants in the Jayarogya Hospital Group along with his son and daughter-in-law and city dwellers.

Devani and Ashu Dixit were married on July 8. Devyani is a teacher at a school in the city and due to the increasing pollution in the environment, she had asked her in-laws to plant plants in the area around her before marriage.

It may be mentioned that Neetu, daughter of Pandit Ashok Dubey, a resident of Indramani Nagar in the city, was married to Dr. Ashu Dakshay who is resident of Shyopur. Neetu had put a condition to plant fruity and shady plants before marriage. Neetu's father-in-law, while appreciating the Neetu's environmental love and spirit, promised that he would plant 100 such plants next month after marriage and make arrangements to take care of them throughout their lives.

After receiving the word of the in-laws, Neetu had married to doctor Ashu. In this first phase of plantation, 51 plants have been planted in the Jayarogya Hospital Group Complex. During planting, donor detainee Baba Lakkha Singh of Gurudwara, Dandraoa Sarkar Ramdas Maharaj, Mahant Ram Sevak Das Maharaj of Ganga Das Shala and Dr. Ashok Mishra, superintendent of JAH were present. On the other hand, people are appreciating Devyani's move.
