Jabalpur: Police in Sivni district of Madhya Pradesh have taken a major action against illegal liquor smuggling. Dhanora police station in Seoni district has arrested 1 accused for illegal transportation of indigenous liquor and also seized a vehicle from him. In fact, the police had received secret information from the informant that an illegal consignment of liquor was going to be brought to Dhanora Nagar in the dark of the night.

Based on the information given by the informant, SS Bhardwaj, in-charge of the police station, immediately planned to catch the vehicle with his team. The police team wanted to stop the Jaylo vehicle at the big ghat of village Bhasuda Pipraia, which falls under Seoni district. But, the driver dodged the police and fled. The police chased the vehicle for a long time.

The perpetrator, who was on his way to escape the police arrest, hit the speeding vehicle with a tree. The vehicle crashed there. The police immediately took action and arrested the driver. Police searched the vehicle and recovered 400 pieces of indigenous plane liquor. The police produced the accused in the court from where he was sent to jail.
