Madhya Pradesh Public service commission (MPSC) was established in 1956 on 1st November under the section of 118 (3) of the state reorganization Act.

Madhya Pradesh Public service commission (MPSC) is an autonomous body which basically recruits the applicants to several posts of civil services with-in Madhya Pradesh by holding various competitive examination. More-ever the select the applicants for the position of civil services, the commission has framed certain rules and regulations as well as initiated several disciplinary actions when required to undertake the tasks by Madhya Pradesh Public service commission (MPSC), commission comprises a chairman and four other members to take care off.
