ASI Rajendra Malviya has three children. These include the eldest daughter, 21-year-old Vaishnavi, 12-year-old Bhavesh and 10-year-old Jayas. Rajendra was posted at the Karanwas police station on the post of ASI for the last one and a half years. It is being told that Rajendra Malviya had befriended a woman from his village in Rajgarh a few days ago. Then this friendship gradually deepened. It is being told that the woman also lives in the Karnawas police station area. She was blackmailing ASI Rajendra Malviya for a long time.
Upset over this, ASI Rajendra Malviya tried to kill himself by consuming two tablets of sulphas while eating on January 12. When his health deteriorated, the hotel operator informed the police. The ASI was then taken to Sanjivani Hospital in Bewara, where he was referred to Bhopal after his condition deteriorated after first aid. He was admitted to LBS after 10 days of treatment at Chirayu Hospital in Bhopal, where ASI Rajendra Malaviya succumbed to his injuries on January 28.

The police had registered a case against Geeta Mewade, the woman who blackmailed ASI Rajendra Malviya, under section 384 at the Karnawas police station, but at that time the woman got bail from the police station.
