Indore: In Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, villagers tied the hands of a young man named Naeem and thrashed him with sticks. The video of the incident is going viral on social media. Nadeem is accused of raping and blackmailing a 17-year-old minor girl. The incident took place in the Badarwas police station area. Police have registered a case against the accused under sections of the SC-ST Act including kidnapping, rape, POCSO.
According to the report, the victim is an 11th standard student. In a statement to the police, she said that she used to go from her village to study Badarwas. Meanwhile, one day in January 2021, she met 24-year-old Nadeem Khan at a bus stand. The conversation between the two escalated and there was a friendship. Nadeem took his mobile number and the two started talking on the phone. Meanwhile, on March 1, 2021, the accused called the minor and lured her to a tourist spot called Bharka Salon. The accused raped the student when he got a chance to reach there. After that, he blackmailed the student and often raped her.
According to the victim, the accused Nadeem had taken her to Bharka salon on August 8 and raped her. Last Thursday also he blackmailed the student and called her to meet her again. When he reached the Bharka salon with the student, the villagers noticed his dirty actions. The villagers then tied his hands and hit him. He was later handed over to the police. Some people made a video of the incident and made it viral on social media.
