Khargone: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had reached Raverkhedi in Khargone district on Wednesday. Here, he paid floral tributes at the samadhi of the harmonious Bajirao Peshwa on his birth anniversary. Ministers Usha Thakur, Tulsi Silawat, Kamal Patel, and Congress MLA Sachin Birla from Barwah also attended the function. Union Minister Scindia then left for Indore at 10 pm after participating in the Jan Ashirvad Yatra from Raverkhadi.

For the first time, the MP Tourism Department and the Cultural Department are organizing a massive program at the Samadhi site on the 321st Birth Anniversary Celebrations at Bajirao Peshwa Samadhi site in Village Raverkhedi on Wednesday. Scindia has also arrived here for the first time. Earlier, on the birth anniversary of Peshwa, state and Union ministerial representatives have joined, but this will be the first time that the head of the state himself has come to pay floral tributes to Peshwa.

Tell you that Bajirao, the great warrior who unfurled the flag of Maratha power in India at the age of 20 as a Peshwa, conquered about 40 wars. Because of this, they are placed in the category of great warriors and winners of the world. The place where Bajirao breathed his last is his mausoleum and some distance away on the river bank where he was cremated. That's where the altar remains.
