Bhopal: In the midst of the crisis hovering over the Congress government in Rajasthan, departments have been divided in the Shivraj Singh Chauhan government in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. Yashodhara Raje Scindia of BJP was appointed as the Minister of State for Sports and Youth Welfare, Technical Education and Skill Development and Employment. 

CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has kept General Administration, Public Relations, Narmada Valley Development and Aviation Department in his possession. Apart from this, all other departments which have not been assigned to any minister will also remain with CM Shivraj. Home ministry in the state has been assigned to Dr Narottam Mishra. Mishra is also responsible for jail and parliamentary work. Bisahu Lal Singh has been made Food and Civil Protection Minister and Vijay Shah has been given the Forest Department. Gopal Bhargava has been made the Minister of Public Works and Cottage and Gramudyog.

Tulsi Ram Silavat, who came from Congress to BJP, has been made the Minister of Water Resources, Fisheries Welfare and Development. Jagdish Deora has been given the charge of the Ministry of Commercial Taxes, Finance, Planning, Economic and Statistics and Dr Mohan Yadav has been made the Minister of Higher Education. Hardeep Singh Dung has been appointed as the Minister for New and Renewable Energy and Environment and Rajwardhan Singh as Minister for Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion. Bharat Singh Kushwaha, Inder Singh Parmar, Ramkhelavan Patel, Ram Kishore Kanvere, Brijendra Singh Yadav, Girraj Dandoutia, Suresh Dhakad and O.K. P.S. Bhadoria has been appointed Minister of State for different departments.
