Bhopal: Innova and WagonR car collided face-to-face in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh on NH-52 on Monday. 5 people died in this while 4 are said to be seriously injured. A family member resident of Bhagirathpura in Indore was returning to his home from Guna by joining a family function in a WagonR car.

On the other hand, Mahant Someshwargiri and Mahant Anantagiri Maharaj from Aurangabad, Maharashtra were going towards Lucknow with their two companions and a child in an Innova car. Meanwhile, both vehicles collided directly on the highway in Gopalpura near Sarangpur. In this accident, Shailesh Yadav 40 of Indore Bhagirathpura, his mother Siya Dulari Yadav 60 years old, son Mohit Yadav of 14 years and Mahant Anant Giri Maharaj riding in an Innova car died on the spot. While 65 years old Amar Singh Yadav has also died after reaching the hospital.

In the incident, Sunil Yadav, who was riding in a WagonR car, has been referred to Indore in a critical condition. While Mahant Someshwar Giri, driver Sarthak, Abhishek and Kailash present in the Innova car have been admitted to Sarangpur hospital in critical condition. On receiving the information about the incident, the station in-charge Umashankar Mukati and his team reached the spot who took the injured and brought them to the hospital.
