Ujjain: An accused of a murder committed suicide by drinking acid at Ingoria police station in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh, after which the Superintendent of Police has suspended seven policemen including the station in-charge. The accused youth, Bharat Meena, died in the toilet of the police station by drinking acid, due to which he was admitted to the hospital. He was referred to Indore due to critical condition but died during treatment.

The suspension action has been taken in the case of negligence on the policemen of Ingoria police station. The suspended policemen include the station in-charge Prakash Vaskal, a sub-inspector, a head police constable, three constables, and a city soldier. According to the information received, the person who committed suicide was locked in the Igoria police station for the murder of his younger sister.

A 17-year-old daughter was strangled to death by father Hiralal, a resident of village Utwas, under Ingoria police station in Ujjain district, along with his son Bharat Meena, after which both the accused were taken into custody by the police in police station Ingoria on Wednesday.
