Novak Djokovic has beaten protecting champion Andy Murray 6-2 3-6 6-3 in the Men's Singles final of the Madrid Open Tennis.
This defeat indicates that, Briton will lose his world number two ranking to Roger Federer.

With his victory, Djokovic of Serbia now moves fast of Spain's Rafael Nadal with a record 29 ATP Masters 1000 titles.

Previous, Indo-Romanian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea could not preserve their Men's Doubles title on Sunday. 

The sixth seeded defending champions were defeated by third seeded Dutch-Romanian combination of Jean-Julien Roger and Horia Tecau in straight sets 4-6, 6-7.
