A salon owner in Madurai city of Tamil Nadu has put up a poster outside his shop stating that people coming with corona vaccination certificates will get 50% discount. People who have got a dose of corona vaccine will be exempted.
Karthikeyan, the owner of this salon, says that 'We have given half this discount to the people coming to our shop so that people can increase awareness about vaccination'. The shop owner said that 'If we are to avoid the crisis of the third wave of corona in the country, it would be better to get a dose of the vaccine in advance. So, I want everyone to get vaccinated before the third wave arrive'. In Tamil Nadu, 8,183 new corona cases were reported on Saturday and the infected figures increased to 24. The death toll increased to 31,015 with 14 lakh deaths and 180 more patients. The health department said this in a bulletin.
