New Delhi: Noodles are always in demand due their taste and easy to the made recipe. Implemented lockdowns all over the country have increased their demand, in many areas even the news of its complete depletion is being reported. In the country's capital New Delhi, wholesalers have said that Maggi stock has come down, while demand is high.
Ayush, the director of the New Delhi wholesaler Triveni Trading Company, said that "the demand for noodles is very high. Maggi stock is very low and now yippies are present." Jitendra of Vardhman Trading in Delhi told IANS that the issue about Maggi is that its distributors are charging much higher than normal rates. He said, "The distributors are getting supplies but many distributors are stating prices that the retailers don't want to buy it. The MRP of the Maggi packet is Rs. 12 and the distributor demands Rs. 11.90, the retailer only for 10 paise. Why would you buy from the difference? "
Let us tell you that last month, Nestle, the maker of Maggi, said that as the company works in the manufacturing and sales of food and beverage products. She is in talks with officials to continue operations at the company's factories and distribution centers, where operations have just been called off. The company had said, "The company is closely monitoring the situation and all necessary measures will be taken from time to time as directed by the central-state government and authorities."
