MUMBAI:. After giving the Chief Minister's post to the Shiv Sena, the Congress-NCP is fighting for the post of Deputy Chief Minister. The Congress is seeking the post of Deputy Chief Minister, while NCP has staked its claim on it. There has been talk of giving the post of Assembly Speaker to Congress in Aghadi. At the same time, NCP is not ready on two deputy chief ministers.

According to information received from the sources, after this dispute came to light, NCP leader Ajit Pawar said in the media on Friday that who will get what in Mahavikas Aghadi, it has already been decided. According to the division, Shiv Sena got the post of Chief Minister, while NCP will get the post of Deputy Chief Minister and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and Congress will get the post of Speaker of the Assembly. On the demand of Congress, he said that it is not so. By sending a Delhi letter, the Congress high command has asked for the name of their leader for the post of Assembly Speaker, which is to be sent to the Governor before 11 am on Saturday.

According  to the sources, the matter is not as easy as Pawar is telling. At the same time, Congress leaders say that the party is agreeing that it should get a few seats in the cabinet, but the post of Deputy Chief Minister is necessary because only then a coalition of three parties will be seen in the government of Mahavikas Aghadi. Even before Uddhav's oath of office, the issue was raised in the meeting of Aghadi and even then the Congress had said that if it did not get the post of Deputy Chief Minister, it would be better if Shiv Sena-NCP form a government. She will support them from outside.
