In the epic episode of Mahabharata, it is shown that the Pandavas get an invitation to play Chaucer and they accept this invitation. Bhishma, Dronacharya, Kripacharya and Vidur know the outcome of this game but are forced by the persistence of Duryodhana and are silently present in this game. Yudhishthira bets himself and loses. He asks him to end the game after losing the game because he now has nothing to stake, but Duryodhana still wants to avenge his humiliation. That is why he asks Draupadi to be at stake, upon hearing this Vidura had to stand up and asks Dhritarashtra to abandon his son Duryodhana who disrespected the Kulvadhu of Hastinapur in a huge gathering, hearing that Duryodhana was furious and he insulted Vidur and Dhritarashtra did not say anything.
Yudhishthira was forced to put Draupadi at stake and he also lost her. Duryodhana wanted to avenge his insult, so after winning it, he ordered Draupadi to come to this assembly. The Dushasan comes to Draupadi's chamber and disrespects Draupadi by grabbing her hair and dragging her to a gaming house. Draupadi tries a lot but is unable to do anything. While dragging her dignity, Dushasan brings Draupadi to the sports house. Seeing Draupadi, Duryodhana asks Dushasan to put her on Duryodhana's thigh. Bhima could not bear this insult and he promised Duryodhana that he would break his thigh. Draupadi sees Dushasan's hand and looks at the eldest father, Bhishma Pitamah, Kakashri Vidur, Kripacharya and Dronacharya, all with tears in their eyes and eyes. Then Draupadi weeps and asks for blessings from Bhishma Pitamah.
Bhishma Pitamah is sitting silently drinking this insult. Draupadi asks questions one by one, but she does not get any answer. When everyone seems compelled to her, she questions Yudhishthira how he can bet his wife. On this, Bhima also tells his eldest brother Yudhishthira that if there was no one else at that place, instead of Yudhishthira, he would throw off his arms. Karna also tells Draupadi that there is no harm in making the sixth as well as his wife. Karna even spoke Draupadi to a prostitute. On hearing this, the five Pandavas got angry but Yudhishthira stopped the war from happening. On this, Arjun promises Karna that he will one day take revenge for this insult from him. Duryodhana then orders Dushasan to naked Draupadi.
