Saurabh Raaj Jain is one of the most loved television actors in Television. He is famous for playing mythological characters in films. He gained immense popularity by playing the role of Krishna in 'Mahabharata'. Saurabh played the role of Lord Shiva in the TV show 'Mahakali: Ant Hi Aarambh'. He is celebrating his birthday today. On his Birthday have a look on Saurabh’s struggle. The actor once revealed that during the days of struggle, he used to work at night in call center and give auditions during the day.
Saurabh once speaking about his struggle said, “My parents didn’t want me to become an actor and I came to Mumbai against his will. When I reached Mumbai, I had Rs.5,000 and a bag. At that time, after some viewers, I got an opportunity to work in the show Remix. Living in Mumbai is not an easy task if you belong to a middle-class family.”
He further added, “ Most of my friends are from an upper-class family, so I had to struggle a lot. After Remix I took a break from acting and continued my studies but money remained an issue. So I joined a call centre. I used to study all day and work in the call centre at night. After finishing BCA I got a character in Balaji Telefilms. The character was for the serial ‘Kasam Se’. After that, I also got a character in ‘Parichay’. Once established in the industry, Saurabh made his work worship. I used to do a double shift for serials like Mahabharata and Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Saurabh said. ”
He has been featured in Meet Mila De Rabba. He made his Hollywood film career debut in 2008 in film Karma. In 2008, he appeared in another TV serial Kasamh Se. In the same year he played the role of Lord Vishnu in a TV serial Jai Sri Krishna. After this, in the year 2009, he played the role of Vikram in Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. He has featured in various serials like Bhakton Ki Bhakti Mein Shakti (2015), Mahapuraan (2016), Mahakavi (2016), Mahakali (2017), Porus (2018), Radha Krishna (2018), Chandragupta Maurya (2018), Patiala Babes (2019), Kitchen Champion (2019) and Savdhaan India (2015). Apart from this, Saurabh also participated in the show Nach Baliye 9 telecast in the year 2019 as a contestant. He became a household name after playing Vishnu in Har Har Mahadev and Krishna in Mahabharata.
