In the story so far, you have seen that the Pandavas are spending time with their mother Kunti in anonymity. After escaping from the fire in Lakshagriha, the five brothers have disguised the sadhus to hide their identity. With this, wandering in the city, the Pandavas reach the swayamvara of Draupadi, the daughter of King Drupada, where the princes from all over the country have arrived to marry Draupadi. Along with this, Duryodhana, the brother of Pandavas, has also come here, but he is unable to recognize the five Pandavas.

The condition of this swayamvar is that the prince who would look at the fish's eye while looking in the water, would be able to marry Draupadi. At the same time, one king after another stands but fails to catch the eye of the fish. During this, after seeing the bowed head of everyone, Suryaputra Karna stands up and takes him up at once, bowing to the bow. But Draupadi stops Karna at the behest of her Sakha Krishna, saying that she will not marry a son. After this, Arjun, disguised as a Brahmin, comes forward and takes a bow and aims to pierce the eye of the fish. Everyone is surprised to see Arjuna's skill in disguise as a Brahmin.

For your information, let us tell you that in the next episode of Mahabharata, you will see that after marriage, the Pandavas will tell their truth to Draupadi and can go to Mata Kunti. When Arjun returns from Swayamvar, Kunti must be cooking at that time. Arjun will come to the kitchen and tell his mother that we have brought something for you. At the same time, Kunti would give orders to her sons without seeing that whatever is there should be divided among the five, due to this statement of the mother, the five Pandavas will be married to Draupadi. During the marriage, Kunti will promise to Draupadi that even if the Pandava brothers marry another princess, they will only get the status of queen. Draupadi will also be called as Panchali.
