Ujjain: The cupboards of Baba Mahakal temple were closed for a long time but now it is about to open. From 28th June doors are going to open to devotees. Meanwhile, the temple committee has started preparations. Yes, now every devotee visiting the temple will be required to book online for darshan. In addition, devotees will be required to show vaccination certificate or covid negative report 24 to 48 hours before entering the temple for darshan.
As per the information received, darshan will be conducted in seven slots from 6 am to 8 pm at the temple. At the same time, visitors will not get access to the sanctum sanctorum and Nandi Hall. All the shrines located in the same temple complex will be open for darshan. A meeting of the Temple Management Committee was held under the chairmanship of Collector Ashish Singh to visit the temple last Thursday. During the meeting, guidelines on the philosophy of God were laid down. The meeting was attended by SP Satyendra Kumar Shukla, Managing Committee members Vineet Giri Maharaj, Ashish Pujari, Vijayshankar Sharma, Deepak Mittal, Administrator Narendra Suryavanshi, Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal, UDA CEO SS Rawat, Smart City CEO Jitendra Singh Chauhan, Pradeep Guru.
New Guidelines for Philosophy-
* 7 slots have been created to visit the temple. Online booking will be held in seven slots from 6 am to 8 pm.
* Darshan will not go to sanctum sanctorum and Nandi Hall.
* Selfies cannot be taken in the temple.
* Normal devotees will not be able to enter Bhasma Aarti and Shayan Aarti.
* Free food sector will start with half capacity.
* Shravan Mahotsav will no longer be there this time.
