Mahant Nritya Gopal Das Maharaj, president of Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Trust On Friday, said that governors and chief ministers of all states would be invited to Ayodhya to participate in the construction of a grand Ram temple.

On this matter, he further said that we have already invited Prime Minister Narendra Modiji for this. Also, Yogi Adityanath ji as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Maharaj told reporters after reaching Gwalior on Friday that all governors and chief ministers, who are interested in religion, would be invited to participate in the construction of a grand temple. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh will also be invited. The president of Ram Mandir Trust further said that no grant will be taken from the government for the construction of the temple.

In his statement, he said that no grant will be taken from the government, the temple will be built with the contribution of the public. The government already has many problems, which have to be solved, so we cannot burden them too much. Earlier yesterday, Gopal Das Maharaj led the delegation that met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence. VHP leaders Champat Rai, K Parasharan and Swami Govind Giriji Maharaj were also part of the delegation that met PM Modi on 20 February. Gopal Das Maharaj told the media after an hour-long meeting with PM and we invited him to come to Ayodhya. The Prime Minister has assured us that he will consider the proposal. He also said that the grand temple will be built soon.
