1400 people from Maharashtra arrived in Tablighi Jamaat, 1300 Quarantined

Mumbai: 1400 people from Maharashtra took part in the Tablighi Jamaat program held in Nizamuddin Markaz of the country's capital. All are being traced. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that 1400 people of our state had gone to the Tabligi Jamaat program. So far 1300 people have been identified and they are being quarantined. They will be sampled for Corona virus testing.

Today, PM Narendra Modi spoke with the CM of Maharashtra, Health Minister and Home Minister through video conferencing in which people from Tablighi Jamaat were also talked. The Health Minister said that 1400 people from Maharashtra attended the Tablighi Jamaat program in Nizamuddin Markaz. This is the information so far. Out of them 1300 people have been identified. All of them are being quarantined as well as their testing and counseling will also be done.

He said that PM Modi said that this epidemic is worse than war. PM Modi has asked to trace those survivors soon. PM Modi has ordered monitoring using drones, GPS systems and technology in high rix areas.
