Mumbai: Such news comes from the country's financial capital Mumbai that comes as a surprise. Now in the news recently, two journalists from Goregaon area have been arrested by the police for demanding money from a salon/spa owner. Talking about the matter, Goregaon ACP Deepak Phatangare said that the spa owner had lodged a complaint that for the last two months two journalists have been demanding money from him.
Taking cognizance of the matter, he laid a trap and caught the two accused red-handed. According to reports, the salon/spa mistress is named Poonam Ashok Jain. In this case, Poonam has alleged that "both the accused persons were demanding money by threatening her for the last two months". With this, he told that the accused told him that if the business of the parlour is to be done, do not give us the money, otherwise we will get your business closed today. He was threatening every day and getting upset by this threat, the woman lodged a complaint with the Goregaon police.
After the woman lodged a complaint, the Goregaon police laid a trap to catch the accused red-handed. The accused got trapped in their laying trap and thus the police also succeeded. He then arrested the accused. In this case, it is learned that the accused was an auto-rickshaw driver. The police say that both the accused are illiterate who do not even know to read and, claiming themselves to be journalists, work to extort money from people.
