Pune: A very serious case of crime has come out from Pune district of Maharashtra, where a 37-year-old woman was molested and the accused removed both her eyes when she opposed. An unidentified man attempted to molest her when she came out of the house on Tuesday night in Nhavare village under Shirur tehsil of Pune. When the woman tried to defend herself, the man lucked out her eyes with a weapon.

In this accident, the victim also tried to make a voice for help, but the accused tried to kill her by strangling her, after which she fell unconscious. Currently, the victim is undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital in Pune. According to the doctor, the victim has lost both her eyes. A case has been registered at the Shirur police station in Pune under sections of molestation and attempt to murder.

Senior police officials also inspected the scene of the incident and assured that soon the accused will be found and detained. Currently, the police has detained a person and is questioning him.
