Thane: A big news has come from Thane (Thane) in Maharashtra (Maharashtra). In fact, there is a case of smuggling of beef (Beef) from here. According to information received, police here arrested one of the accused for allegedly carrying 2500 kg of beef last Wednesday. Police said the price of beef seized in the Vartak Nagar area is said to be Rs 2.5 lakh.

On the other hand, a news agency quoted police as saying that a tempo vehicle was stopped near Jupiter Hospital on the basis of information received from Vartak Nagar police. Giving details in the case, police said, "Beef was being smuggled to Kurla area of Mumbai. According to a report on a famous website, the accused has been identified as Aslam Fakir Mohammad Sheikh. He was driving the vehicle. Police said they have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC and the matter is under investigation.''

Let us tell you that this is not the first case. Earlier in September also, based on information, the police had stopped a tempo at Kharegaon toll Naka on Nashik-Mumbai highway. During that time, the police had found beef and in interrogation, they came to know that the meat was being taken from Malegaon to Kurla from neighbouring district Nashik. The value of the meat seized during that time was estimated to be around Rs 8 lakh.
