Maharashtra announced 50 lakh reward for making villages corona free

Mumbai: The havoc of corona virus is now receding. Corona is been controlled in Maharashtra but now the state government has taken a big decision to free these villages from corona. In fact, the Uddhav Government has announced a corona-free village competition. Under the information received, the village which is now free from corona will also be given a prize of up to Rs 50 lakh. Yes, under the information received in this case, three Gram Panchayats which have done well with the best management will be selected to make the village corona free.

50 lakh slated to be given to the second-ranked village and Rs.15 lakh to the third-ranked village. You all must be aware that a few days ago, CM Uddhav Thackeray had strongly praised the steps taken by some villages to prevent corona infection. 

Briefing about the recent corona-free village competition, Rural Development Minister Hasan Musharraf said, "The competition is part of the initiative announced by the CM. The biggest prize will be 50 lakh rupees while the smallest prize will be Rs 15 lakh" Now total corona cases of 15,169 corona cases were registered in the state last Wednesday. At the same time, 285 people have died of corona virus in the state in the last 24 hours.
