Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is busy preparing for the upcoming assembly elections. In this connection, he has gone on a state visit. The state currently has a coalition government of BJP and Shiv Sena. CM Fadnavis has gone out on a MahaJandesh yatra in the state these days. CM has had public contact on more than 100 of the 288 seats in the state. During this campaign, he said that he would be happy to work in the Narendra Modi cabinet if asked.

CM Fadnavis said that the confidence of the common people in the leadership of this party, including former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, has been lost. The Chief Minister was asked what action he would take if the party leadership asked him to work in the Central Government. He had earlier made it clear that after the proposed assembly elections in October this year, he would once again return to Maharashtra as the NDA chief minister. Fadnavis is the first Chief Minister of BJP in Maharashtra.

There are only a few days left to complete his five-year term. CM was going to Satara as part of his Mahajandesh Yatra. The yatra is scheduled to conclude on September 19 in Nashik district and will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Asked if his government would get another term, the CM said, 'We have worked and we are going among the people to talk about these works only. The purpose of this journey is to awaken positive feelings in people. During this visit, Fadnavis also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that nobody takes his statement seriously.
