Mumbai: In Maharashtra, the ruling Maharashtra Development Alliance today called for a bandh in support of farmers. In that case, everything is going to be closed here today. In fact, the bandh has been called for the death of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh. In this regard, the coalition says that everything will remain closed except for the necessary services. On the other hand, Mumbai police have prepared a plan to protect people from problems during the bandh. In fact, on the call of the Maha Vikas Aghadi or the MVA Government, there is a call to keep it closed all over Maharashtra.

According to the information received, the ruling alliance includes Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP which are supporting the bandh. Not only that, the state government itself announced the bandh by holding a joint press conference of the three parties. Yesterday, Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik had said in a statement, "I appeal to the 12 crore people of Maharashtra to support the bandh. Support means to join the bandh today and stop one day's work.'' On the other hand, the State Government has clarified that everything except emergency services will be kept closed.

Grain and vegetable mandis will also be closed. In fact, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, "His party will support the bandh in full swing. All three parties will actively participate in the bandh. What happened in Lakhimpur Kheri is a murder of the Constitution, a violation of the law and a conspiracy to kill the farmers of the country.'' On the other hand, Mumbai Police has said that police personnel will be deployed at all places during the bandh. Three companies of central paramilitary forces, 500 home guards and 700 other security personnel will help maintain the law and order situation of Mumbai Police.
